"Miek, did you watch "Jinek" - a Dutch Latenight show - last night?" my mother asked.
I answered in the negative and on her recommendation I watched it.
The reason?
Our Royal highness princess Irene van Lippe Biesterfeld. Or, as she says herself: Irene van Lippe.
I thank her from the bottom of my heart. She is a true pioneer. Paved the way.
In 1995, following a unique experience in nature, she published her book "Dialogue with Nature".
She was maligned. Considered completely nuts. A "tree hugger".
The talk show host, Eva Jinek, hung on her lips. A colleague from South Africa called Irene an "energy healer". She confirmed that she is indeed an energy healer and continued her response that she reads energy when she closes her eyes. Eva Jinek was on the edge of her seat. Everyone in her place would have asked the same pressing question. "Do you see anything in my energy-field?"
What touched me so much in this interview is that a princess has used her position in this life to show us what Divine connection is. To create harmony in complete connection with all that lives. She lives her truth. Even though there are countless people who condemn that same truth. Like she was condemned when she first published her book.
Her response? 'Yes, that's right. But there are at least as many people who did appreciate the book at the time. "

This is the answer from a lady who owns her soul. The wise woman who understands - and more importantly, has experienced - that life always has two sides. Sweet and sour. Black and white. Yin and Yang.
